Introducing the Nayahta Designs Nimble 40 Liter Backpack, the perfect pack for ultralight hikers who demand quality craftsmanship and premium materials. This pack is handmade in Canada with the utmost care, using only the best materials available.
Don't let your gear get in the way of your next outdoor adventure! With the Nimble 40L Pack, you can stuff it full without compromising comfort and weight. By using pleats to expand our front pocket, you can carry more than ever before—perfect for those long-distance hikes.
Our uniquely designed bottom pocket features a lip to ensure your snacks are securely stored, while the non-pleated side pockets provide an extra layer of protection to prevent snacks from falling out.
Weighing in at a remarkable 370 grams without shoulder strap pockets and only 390 grams with both, the Ultra200 version Nimble backpack is the perfect ultralight companion for any adventure.
With our non-pleated side pockets, your bottles will stay conveniently within reach for quick access, and our thickly-padded shoulder straps ensure you can carry all the heavy food and water you need without sacrificing comfort.
Currently, our shoulder strap options are limited to J and S styles. However, we are actively working on developing a running-style vest as well as a V strap specifically designed for carrying a bear canister.
We’re also hard at work creating a modular backpack with a detachable hipbelt and an adjustable shoulder strap system for those who prefer a hipbelt and load lifters!

The way we measure our backpacks is by looking at the length of the back panel from the top of the shoulder straps to the bottom. When selecting a backpack, be sure to select one that is the same size or smaller than your torso length. It's best if the bottom of the pack sits at or above your tailbone.
